Media sources in Australia are reporting today that Rangers have had a bid rejected for AEK's Australian striker come winger Nathan Burns. Burns played in the Sydney Festival of Football is believed to have sparked a bid by the club. Burns scored against the 'Gers as AEK went on to win the July tournament which also featured Sydney FC and Blackburn Rovers.
