Rangers have today in some online news sources and the Daily Mail been linked to midfielder Robert Koren.

The Slovenian internationalist and national captain has been a free agent since his contract ran out with West Brom.

Koren had a good World Cup and showed up well as Slovenia played against England.

The player has been attracting interest from Premiership newboys Blackpool, however today in local and national press, Koren's name is being linked to Rangers.

According to the press, Koren's first preference would be to stay in the Premiership, however the tempation of Champions League football could be enough to tempt the player to Rangers. However, wage demands might be a problem with Koren on wages reflecting the Premiership.
