Kyle Lafferty notched morale boosting treble today as a Rangers reserve side trounced Swedish side Ostersunds 6:1 at Murray Park.
John Fleck was electric as he set up two of the Northern Irishmans goals, the other Rangers scored by Andrew Little, who played part of the game in defence alongside Ross Perry and Steven Naismith who curled a spectacular free kick into the net towards the end of the fixture.
The game was part of the Swedish sides preseason training as their season runs through the calendar year.
It was a strong side that was out representing Rangers with many first team stars featuring including Mo Edu, Nacho Novo, Steven Naismith, Kirk Broadfoot, Neil Alexander and John Fleck.
There were several youngsters that came up well too, with Thomas Kind Bendiksen looking very good and earning praise from reserve team manager Tommy Wilson.
