WE ARE THE RANGERS!
There seemed to be a plea for new songs. That's what happened on RangersMedia.co.uk and that is what started me thinking about all of this.
The We Are The Rangers and Rangers are on the March songs seemed to me like typical supporter songs in the way of Follow Follow.
I added a little humour with Helicopter Sunday and Yes, She'll Need to Follow Rangers If She's going to Marry Me.
The New Season reflects my homesickness for Scotland and Ibrox and the frustrations that get to me and other supporters before every new season.
Coming Out of The Shadow is a song about the battle against sectarianism. This is a complex subject. We are winning this battle and the fact we are suggests we will get the victory demanded.
There are two songs about Ibrox - I felt there was a lack of such and I hope this helps. It is a beautiful stadium.
The other songs are easy listening and reflect my happy times supporting Rangers.
I am happy at having done this in my 60th year. I never imagined I would. It will give me great joy if these songs manage to convey to you the pleasure I get in supporting the Rangers. I sincerely hope you enjoy them too.
