Wouldn't be surprised. Read elsewhere contract talks recently ended altogether because he was asking for too much. His performances don't even deserve a contract extension never mind a good wage rise. At his age he's looking at his last chance of a decent contract so I don't blame him for trying to get what he can but hopefully that's elsewhere and we can get an ok fee for him.

The players take blame but why were they not interested? It's the managers job to make sure they are interested and motivate them. If someone isn't looking interested he should sub them off ASAP and let it be a warning to the rest of the team.

I wouldn't have any hope of him coming in and making much of an impact for a few years. It's hard to pick out players that haven't been given much game time for criticism when guys like Holt, Halliday, Wallace are garbage and get away with it every other week.

November-December was poor results wise, although maybe performances deserved a bit better. Beat off hibs & falkirk, draws with livingston & morton. 3 wins from 7 games is terrible at any level for us.

Yet people still try to pretend that we've only been shit since April. Away league wins under MW must be at about 40-45%. Taking into account a season of that was in the championship that's dreadful.

Yep. IMO the fooball has been crap more often than not for a year now. The first couple of months we played quick attacking football. Since then it's been slow, ponderous, possession based rather than attacking. Given that the good quick attacking play is very rare the only conclusion I can come to is that the slow build up, possession play is how MW wants us to play. You don't buy players who are slow, old past their prime, injury plagued, who's legs are gone, to play quick high tempo football.

It's part of the game whether we like it or not. Maybe if our team wasn't filled with wee poofs that are scared to give it back we wouldn't be on the receiving end so often.

Many wouldn't have a bad word said against the manager last season. Now many of the ultra-defensive people are even fed up with him which tells me the game is up for him. It will take some doing to get all these people to believe in him again.
