  1. There's an over-reaction. I asked a simple question.
  2. I don't quite understand your point here. Please explain.
  3. He was on trial for a week; I think it's blatantly obvious that Warburton signed him. If you're suggesting that he was brought in by the board, I think that puts such gossip to bed. Dave King or Paul Murray won't have been overseeing his performances in training before making a decision.
  4. If I could select one player to demonstrate how much of a monumental car crash Warburton made of our recruitment activity during the summer, Senderos would be that player.
  5. Absolutely not. The furthest I went to complimenting Halliday was stating that recently, he's been decent. That was in comparison to Wallace and McKay who the poster chose to over-look. As I said in my first post and I've reiterated it all over the forum; I will not be satisfied until we hammer them. I might be waiting a while, but so frustrating has this season been, that's my opinion. I just can't fathom how a topic can be stated, praising any of our squad; most certainly not an un-fit, highly-paid player who was hooked at half-time in an Old Firm humiliation... because he played well against Partick Thistle.
  6. Calling you a clown was out of order; I apologise. Having said that, I still disagree with most of what you've said, but going back-and-forth won't achieve anything and at the end of the day, we both want the same in Rangers' success. I strongly, strongly believe that we mustn't allow our standards to drop. Kranjcar doesn't deserve to receive plaudits for a good performance against Partick Thistle, all performances taken into account. We're not Hibs, Dundee United or Motherwell; we're Rangers.
  7. Nine years ago? Really? Jesus Christ, where is my life disappearing to? What a night that was. I remember watching it in my old room at my mum's. I used to play Championship Manager/Football Manager religiously, so I knew most of Lyon's team and what they were capable of. To go one, two, then three-bil up with no reply was dream stuff; a fantasy.
  8. My lowest point as a Rangers fan, without any doubt, was when Andy Little, the most incapable striker in the history of our fine club, scored at Ibrox and Gina G's 'Just A Little Bit' was played over the sound system. The chorus to Madness' 'One Step Beyond' should be played after every goal.
  9. Sorry, mate, but you're a clown. You're in the category I referred to earlier in the topic; a frightening opinion and view on football. I have no allegiance to Halliday; I don't entertain playing to the galleries or nostalgic connections, hence why I wasn't Novo's biggest fan. However, for you to bring him into the discussion, at your own accord, then respond that "here come the fan boys" is laughable. It's embarrassing, actually. We're trying to have an adult conversation about football, then you arrive with that? Get a grip. Seriously. Wallace and McKay have been atrocious, ineffective and under-par this season. Stand-out underperformers according to 99% of bluenoses I've spoken to this season, so for you to fail to recognise this simply reiterates how much your opinion lacks value.
  10. I literally just asked him why he mentioned Halliday. An abysmal player to select to support his point. That makes sense now. Hes suggesting that people have an agenda against Barton and Kranjcar, then expressing his agenda against Halliday.
  11. Why would anyone not want Kranjcar or Barton to succeed? I don't understand your logic in that question. Are you doubting some of the comments aimed at Kranjcar in here? If so, which ones? Also, why do you question Halliday? I'm not his biggest fan, but he's been far from the worst and recently, his individual performances have been decent. Wallace and McKay; two far, far more obvious examples. A very peculiar post and opinion. Very strange.
  12. I don't accept the suggestion that Dave King isn't putting his hands in his pockets and we're skint. Warburton and the apparent scouting wizard Frank McParland must be questioned. Celtic didn't spend a penny on Dembelè and he's scored a hat-trick against us, put two past Man City including an over-head kick and all in, he's into the double figures. Yet, we've got fans touting Jordan Rossiter as the new messiah. I like the look of Rossiter, but compare the two. That emphasises my point. Here's an interesting question which might support my point; do Joey Barton and Niko Kranjcar's (never mind Senderos and Hill) combined salaries exceed Dembelè's? I would think so. We have struggled with the step-up because Warburton has made an absolute cunt of the situation. We'll train well, though, and we'll be respectful of our opponents. And that pass from Kranjcar against Partick, wow.
  13. That last paragraph, I'm not having that. Sorry, mate, but when I start observing football, specifically Rangers, from that point of view, I'll chop-up my season card and take-up golf. Make no mistake about it; we're on our arses, at the moment. We've dropped points to Hamilton, Kilmarnock and Ross County, conceded a last minute winner at Pittodrie and we were annihilated 5-1 in an Old Firm game which Celtic will be releasing DVDs of. Only a win at home to Partick Thistle took us into the top six, but after 8 fucking games, we still sit with a minus goal difference. Our intellectual, well-spoken manager has just served a touchline ban and our marquee signing is serving a four-week suspension from the club. Yet, you want to look at the positives? We are the most successful club within the world's most popular sport; this isn't achieved by turning a blind eye to reality. We are under scrutiny from not only every other club, association or personality in this country, but even ourselves. Across the city, while the above is going on over here? They're holding Man City at home in the Champions League, waltzing through domestic fixtures, sitting with a +16 goal difference having player less games than us and their frontline is on fucking flames. That is hard reading and it was even more difficult writing it, but as I said, that's the reality of the situation. So, who fucking cares if Kranjcar played well against Partick Thistle? I don't even think I was this frustrated under le Guen. I genuinely will not be satisfied until we batter those tarrier bastards. I certainly won't be singing the praises of Old Firm culprits for looking good against teams like Partick Thistle.
  14. I don't think that's even up for debate. Quite frankly, I couldn't care less. If that's what you're interested in discussing, then be my guest. I prefer to look at it from, in my opinion, a logical perspective. When it mattered, he's been atrocious. A decent performance against Partick Thistle will absolutely in no way encourage me to begin discussing his wonderful technique and excellent ability.
  15. A class above? In a league of his own? Sublime? We were at home to Partick Thistle, for fuck's sake. It's frightening, some of the opinions expressed on this forum. Between that and short memories, the mind boggles. It was no coincidence that Kranjcar found himself playing in the second flight of American football (even players like Bradley Wright-Phillips and Nigel Reo-Coker made it to the MLS); he is finished. Yes, he'll ping a beautiful 40-yards pass here and a defo outside-of-the-boot pass there, but in the grand scheme of things, a wee boy from Hamilton sent him for a hot dog before putting them ahead and his 45 minutes at Parkhead was one of the worst performances I've ever seen from a Rangers player against Celtic. What it was definitely was the biggest let down. Of that, I am in no doubt. Have some fucking standards, people. We're Rangers. We beat Partick Thistle. Good; move on. We have a million miles to go before even thinking about distributing compliments like the ones in my first paragraph.
