Dembele seems a real talent - and to be fair a real coup for any team to capture for next to nothing. Who knows why we didn't get him?? Did we try and fail?? And if so, what criteria did we fail in? Overall I think Warburton has failed with getting a quality ch in. I'm not happy about that, but happy with the others we have brought in just now; except Barton. Comparing Rossiter and Dembele is fine, but what would you want to prove? Profit, resale value, fitness, goals, tackles? Not really fair to do so as both are competitive different players - but I would say we have done well to capture young Rossiter; once fit he'll be a stand out. I can't see much evidence that King is putting his hand in his pocket and effectively without serious investment we will continue in this situation.

To clarify my points and suggestion, I will never be satisfied until we are back on top. I understand the 'reality' perfectly, we seem to have fuck all cash to spend, we failed to address our defensive deficits over two transfer windows windows, our 'marquee' signing seems to more interested in his ego rather than playing football, along with our team losing its mojo. So yes we are overall playing shite and I do expect us to be much better, however the reality of where we have been over the last four years have truly set in for me - there is no point in shouting 'watp, no surrender' etc. In an attempt to appear staunch. I just chose to back the team just now along with the manager, in no way does that mean I accept not challenging for the title - I just appreciate it's gonna be a longer journey than I want or hoped after the semi-final last year.
